Hello to all my readers! First off I want to say to all my Canadian followers, I hope you all had a fantastic Canada Day on Monday! I'm a big lover of Canada, so I have to show them some support. Now it's our turn to celebrate our country here in the USofA.
Tomorrow marks the 237th birthday of America!! I hope everyone has some amazing plans for the holiday! I know some of us are lucky enough to get a 4 day weekend... and to those people... I'm jealous. I do get to have off tomorrow, but have to come back to work on Friday. Gotta make the money though right? Do any of you have any plans for the holidays? I want to hear all about them!
As scheduled right now, these are my plans... though they will probably change!
Tomorrow will be spent at Lakeside Park in South Norfolk for Chesapeake's annual event. There is a parade then a big to do with vendors, paddle boats, pony rides, musics, and other festivities. It's definitely a fun event and a tradition for my family. If you have children you can also go and get there Child ID's for free. South Norfolk Lodge will be up there providing this service for free. It's a good thing to have for if your child is ever lost or taken away. The remainder of the day will be spent with two of my awesome friends and my god babies.
Friday, I have to work of course. That night, however, I will be hitting up Langley Speedway for some racing action! It's always a great night at the track with some awesome friends! They are even having fireworks after the race, what could be better!
Saturday is beach and cookout time! I am in definite need of some sun. I feel too white for it to be the beginning of July and I'm still not golden brown like usual! I'm also definitely ready for some guys vs girls pool volleyball time with the family. It will be the first time that the family has gotten together this summer. Don't worry though, the girls will definitely be pulling out the win in volleyball!
Friends, Beer, Parades, Cook outs, Pool Time, Family, Racing, and 'Merica... what more could you need!?!
