Holly Hockey Sticks: Weekend Warriors

Hey everyone... I know I'm a crappy blogger and forgot to do a weekend recap yesterday, so here it is! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I'd have to say my weekend was pretty awesome! Friday night I met up with some teammates for a couple drinks before our kickball. We won our game that night, which happened to be the last regular season game for the spring season!

Saturday went by pretty quickly. Met up for lunch with someone and ended up going to the scrap yard with him. It's been a while since I've been in a scrap yard, and I must say... it was nice to go back to my roots! haha. Even saw a couple people that I use to see all the time! Saturday evening was definitely a kickball kind of night! Our end of season tournament started at 5, and we won our first game to advance to semi-finals. I was really proud of my team in our second game to go scoreless up until the bottom of the 7th inning, with a team who normally beats us. However, we didn't have all of our players there. I think if we would have had everyone there, we could have made it to finals! The 1st and 2nd place teams get money towards a bar tab! Either way, we stayed to watch the championship game and had a blast. I love my kickball team, they really are like family!

Sunday was Momma/Daughter day! We ended up getting our nails done and shopping around before heading to go see Tony Lucca, Kelly Clarkson, & Maroon 5. Our seats were awesome! I had/have no clue who Tony Lucca is, seeing as how I don't watch the voice! Kelly Clarkson did phenomenal. I love that she embraces her size and doesn't care what anyone thinks! That girl definitely has some energy! Maroon 5 was pretty good as well! It definitely made my night when Adam Levine took his shirt off!
